INFORMATION
I hate the last profile table I used, so I'm putting it here in very rough text form until I can code/find something else I like.
BASIC INFO
PERSONALITY
Puts up a front of being easygoing, because that keeps people from prying too hard...also because, in certain respects, she is easygoing. She'll go with the flow, sure, as long as it makes sense, she might just be intensely sarcastic while she does so. (This sarcasm might be directed at the people who push her into said aforementioned flow; this sarcasm might be directed at the flow itself, and encourages people to join in.)
She's in, many respects, tired and done with things. Hard work and determination don't always work out: sometimes, what hard work gets you is more work, because you've shown that you can handle more responsibility, and the reward is just them finding more work for you to do. Compensation? What compensation?
She's disillusioned, and wants a nap.
Finding someone who'd give her something to work towards would...that's a good question. Depending on how they go about it, they'll either have someone fighting for them to the end of their days, or she'll bring them down with her. Could go either way.
HISTORY
(NOTE: All of this is the default history assumptions; if we're threading I'll probably play it fast and loose to make our characters mesh together better. That's also why I'm keeping it vague instead of hitting y'all with 5k words of worldbuilding details right off the bat.)
When Sarae was a child, she had a dream, which was to become an elementalist and witch. She didn't really get that far, as she was a kid at the time, and kids tend to not think things through like fantasy ye olde 401ks, retirement, and so on.
Regardless, she pursued a career in magic. She went to magic school, basically. She found two sorcerers who were willing to sponsor her, went on to study the elementals. She found a focus in wind magic. (All of this was very interesting and I could slam on a ton of jargon and tl;dr, but for the sake of keeping things brief that's what you need to know.)
She did good, she got certified as an elementalist, graduated, and then the economy crashed.
Having to make ends meet, she worked for six months in the fantasy version of an Amazon warehouse, using her command of wind magic to basically fly drones, but that shit sucked, so she quit and had a stint working as a salesclerk for a potions stand. She's done various other things in this shitty gig economy. She's grimly considering becoming a courier, but also knows that tends to lead to killing swamp rats and bringing their tails back to the person who hired you, and other tasks of that nature. Not 100% ready for that.

KILLING: Given that I'm mostly in memes and PSLs, I've got no objections, but this just feels like it would end the thread pretty fucking quickly.
